I started to make Jaywalker socks from MagKnits with my Toxic Vesper Sock Yarn. Eww, the lime green is shocking. These will be fun socks to wear around the house in the winter. Big news here at Whirlstrom Studio I got a wool winder. It makes neat yarn cakes!
I started and almost finished this sweater before I had a chance to photo the yarn. The pattern is from Debbie Bliss Simply Baby. The largest size of the cable yoke sweater. It will probably fit XY not this winter but the next. The yarn is Lion Brand Cotton Ease knit in Color Charcoal using size 5 and 6 Knit Pic Options. almost 100% of this was knit while watching season 1 and 2 of Lost. I have extra if I need to make a hat. I still need to put in a zipper that I haven't purchased yet. The seaming was the best I have ever done. I followed instructions! Vogue knitting Quick Reference was great and I highly recommend.
One Cable Net sock down. Pattern from Knitty. Yarn: Lorna's Laces sock in ceder. i think it took about 2.5 months for one sock. I started the second sock and am almost done with 1 of 3 repeats on the cuff. I can knit about 1 to 2 rows per day and I don't work on this everyday. I expect this will day another 3 months to do the second sock. this picture is not so good. Dark yarn lots of cables.
The Fabric? From repo depot on clearance. The plan? A library bag for XY along with some other alphabet fabric. He's one so I have some time to make the bag.
